IHC imagines The Expendables in the decade it should have happened: The 1980s

Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables opens up in two weeks and that’s awesome and all. I fully expect it to be the most fist-pumping testosterone-filled movie in a long, long time, but when I see old man Stallone pumped up with HGH and old boring governator Schwarzeneggar in the trailers or in the posters, it makes me think that someone should have put together this film in the 1980s.

Okay, well yeah, Predator was sort of The Expendables of the 1980s, but it could have been much more star-studded. So I created a series of posters, just like the series of current Expendables posters imagining the epic (and younger) cast that would have been, could have been.

UPDATE: Added Carl Weathers by request, and that’s the only request that can be done, since that brings the number to 13. I initially didn’t put in Weathers because I didn’t want too many Predator / Rocky people, but eff it.
