Comedian Neil Hamburger accuses Applebee’s of endorsing rape

Comedian Neil Hamburger (real name Gregg Turkington) hit Twitter yesterday to interpret a tweet by Applebee’s as meaning that the restaurant chain condones rape.

Applebee’s obviously wasn’t happy about this, and came back with the following response:

A statement, which has been disproven by George Carlin and now by Gregg Turkington.
