“Growing up in Arcades: 1979-1989”, a photo set on Flickr
I was born in 1978 and immediately was thrust into the world of technology. Atari 2600, TI-994A, video game arcades, bulletin board systems. That was my world. The world of the early to mid 80s, slurping slurpies while playing Centipede, wearing knee-high striped tennis socks and running shorts and an iron-on Pac Man t-shirt. And in the Flickr group “Growing Up in Arcades: 1979-1989”, I see my people. I love my people.
