Old Chinese guy teaches himself photoshop in order to repair people’s photo memories
For the past 16 years, 76 year old Baojun Yuan has become a late in life Photoshop expert. But unlike you or I, who might use Photoshop primarily to make fake celebrity nudes or retarded cat pictures, Yuan uses his Photoshop skills for a much more noble purpose— he expertly restores old photos that are on the verge of being lost forever.
In the last decade or so, he’s restored over 2000 photos and hasn’t charged a cent for his services. Yuan bought a computer and scanner himself and doesn’t charge people because he jokingly says, “My teacher just taught me how to repair the photos, but he forgot to tell me how to charge”.
