I have been eating around 700 to 900 calories a day and losing a lot of excess weight. I was wondering if eating slightly more might increase the weight loss? Some people have told me that this is bad and that my body is in "Starvation Mode". The first few weeks were rough but now I feel fine and I am losing about a pound a day on average and I still have enough energy to exercise. I'm down 87 pounds.
