New Year’s Eve, armed robbers loot Paris Apple store to the tune of $1.5 million
As Parisians were counting down to midnight on New Year’s Eve and while much of the Paris police force was out doing crowd control, a group of armed robbers went to an Apple store and carefully looted around $1.5 million in Apple merchandise.
According to reports from employees, the robbers knew exactly what they were doing, going straight to the storeroom and meticulously picked phones, iPads and laptops with the kind of efficiency of someone who knew exactly what they were looking for and exactly how to get it. The four men assaulted a guard and violently threatened store employees to make their way in. They left floor merchandise completely untouched.
