Parents of IHC I need your HELP!

My niece (12), will be visiting for a few days. I plan on letting her have free rein of my laptop, I’ll be making her a user account with suitable settings. But how do I stop her from visiting bad and malicious places on the net, realistically? As she has had problems with internet access in the past. I’m not with her enough to properly educate her on the dos and don’t. I’m at a loss of what to use, or what to do, other than hover behind her constantly. Thanks!
