I'm an agnostic. Close to atheist but open to the possibility of God. I have a longstanding philosophical discussion about the efficacy of religion and the likelihood of God with a high school friend. She's the kind of person who doesn't believe in evolution and thinks the Earth is 6K years old. She cites fallacies in carbon dating and outlying scientists who discredit evolution. Can I make her see the light or am I delusional? Is there a methodology or proven source to argue this?
