Apple brings back app gifting, now straight from your iOS device

With time quickly running out to get stuff in the mail before Christmas, Apple has just brought back app gifting, which you can now do straight from your iOS device. From the App Store, you can pull up a menu that lets you send any app as a gift to someone else, even letting you schedule it up to 90 days in advance.
While browsing apps in the App Store on iOS 6, tap the “share” icon in the upper right corner. Here you can send a link to an app via e-mail, Twitter, iMessage, etc. If the app costs money, a new sharing option is “Gift.”
Even if you’re scheduling the app delivery for a later date, you’ll get charged for it now and then on the specified delivery date, the recipient will get an email telling them they’ve got a present.
