This Sunday, some Teabaggers are planning the dumbest protest ever

So Sarah Palin recently made some comment about how Obama was leading America down the “Road of Ruin”, so this has prompted Stand Up America to call for one of the stupidest protests ever. On March 13, they’re calling for Americans to pull politely over to the right side of the road and pretend they’re taking a phone call or changing a tire (you know, so you don’t get a ticket) and honk their horns in protest of Obama.

That should work out pretty well. So this Sunday, if you see someone pulled over to the side of the road, I guess you should just assume that they’re not happy with Barack Obama. That, or they’re not happy with their Chevy Nova.

In the past, petitions were signed, marches on Washington and elsewhere were held, Tea Parties were created, letters were written, calls were made, new representatives were elected, yet, the road to ruin is still there, and the Obama Administration has the pedal to the floor, the speedometer is pegged, and there are no brakes. All our efforts have for the most part FAILED!

So how do we make our voices known? How do we finally succeed? How do we send a clear message that cannot be twisted by the media, misinterpreted by politicians, or co-opted by Obama apologists? Well, we have come up with one interesting new way. Are you game? It won’t cost you any money short of a gallon of gas. It won’t take much of your time, only about an hour. It won’t mean travel to distant cities. It won’t mean crowds to wade through, and it won’t interfere with your life too much.

What it will be is FUN, and a great way to vent your frustration, without being labeled, or maligned!

It’s also a FUN way to protest without anyone even noticing. What joy! I hereby also call for a protest on Sunday. I think that at some time on Sunday, while you’re driving around, to silently shake your fist in anger at a red light. Sure, it looks innocent, but the red light will know what you mean. HAVE YOUR VOICE HEARD. I don’t even know what we’re protesting, but it’ll be effective.
