Awesome charity of the day: Extra-Life.org

Hey gang, I wanted to use my privilege of posting on IHC to tell you guys about something I am involved with.

Extra Life began in 2008 as a way of honoring a young lady named Victoria Enmon. Tori’s battle against acute lymphoblastic leukemia inspired the Sarcastic GamerCommunity in a way that is difficult to describe. Members sent in video games and bought gifts to keep Tori’s spirits up despite numerous hospital stays and three bouts with the deadly disease.

Sadly, Tori lost her battle, but and idea was born from her death. Extra Life, a 24 hour gaming marathon to help raise money for her family. Others were quick to jump on board, but expressed a desire to also help children and hospitals in their own areas.

Anyways, I have started my own team and set our goal at $200 for this year. My team consists of myself, my 14 year old brother, my 9 year old son and my wife.
