Got a weekend to blow? Play Fear and Loathing: The Board Game
Inspired by the book and movie of the same name, artist Jonathan Baldwin has created a fantastic board game based on Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It’s packaged in a suitcase resembling the one from the film (with a similar interior as well), and any other board game would be hard-pressed to outdo this one, based on presentation alone.
It’s still just a mockup, since actual drugs would get him arrested, but Baldwin’s creation has already beaten Mousetrap as the game with the most ludicrous props. Besides a plethora of pill bottles and other drug-related paraphernalia, the game has Challenge, Dose, and Activity cards that you collect while playing.
