Ubi is the awesome voice-powered smart house computer of the future

While we never get flying cars any time soon, the idea of a computer that monitors your entire house, can respond to voice commands, search the internet for you and read emails is just around the corner. There are already such smart house computers on the market, but they’re really expensive and take a lot of setup. Ubi, a startup from Canada uses just a single, Android powered small box to do pretty much the same job.
Ubi is short for ubiquitous computer because it’s always on, always listening, always ready to help. It can scribe, listen, analyze. Ubi will either talk back to you the information you seek or indicate information through multi-color lights.
Ubi listens to its environment and senses it through sound, temperature, light, pressure, and humidity. It can record this information or use it to trigger events and communication.
