Logitech’s new washable keyboard can take almost any liquid you can throw at it

Water or liquid resistant keyboards are nothing new, but Logitech’s new K310 keyboard claims to be nearly impervious to almost any non-corrosive liquid you can throw at it. Spill your drink on it, soap it up, toss it in the pool, sacrifice a goat over it, wash it again and it’s still perfectly fine.

Built to withstand spills, crumbs, dirt, ketchup — you name it — the K310 keyboard looks to be the perfect keyboard for the messy office or college dorm.

From Logitech’s press release:

“We’ve all experienced that moment of distraction — followed by panic, when a cup of coffee or a soda spills all over your keyboard,” says Sophie Le Guen, senior director of mice and keyboards at Logitech. “Because life and its messes will happen, regardless of how careful you are, Logitech designed the Logitech Washable Keyboard K310 to look and function like new, even over time.”

Logitech says that there’s no limits to how many times the keyboard can be washed and that, theoretically, the keys should last quite a long time — five million keystrokes to be exact.
