John Barrowman joins the cast of CW’s Green Arrow series
I wasn’t super thrilled about CW’s new Green Arrow series, and then they announced John “Captain Jack” Barrowman would be joining the cast. Oh okay fine CW, I’ll watch your show. At least just once.
Barrowman’s role will be a recurring one as, “an acquaintance of the Queen family.” No name for his character has been given but the description continues with, “well-dressed man” who is “as mysterious as he is wealthy. With all that money and power, he’s one of the most prominent figures in Starling City.” I think this is a role Barrowman will fit with ease what with his good looks and devilish charm, but it’s not much of a clue as to who he really is. Entertainment Weekly, who broke the news, is speculating the role could be philanthropist Stanley Dover Sr., a character from Kevin Smith’s run on Green Arrow.
‘Arrow’ premieres October 10.
