This seven foot long LEGO Serenity ship model is fucking amazing
Now this is something you won’t find in any pre-packaged LEGO kit— a seven foot long model of Serenity, the ship from Firefly, plenty big enough for your entire LEGO minifig crew to hang out in.
Adrian Drake used the Serenity Blueprints Reference Pack from QMx as a beginning point to design his model of the Firefly class ship. He converted it to Lego and tried to make it as accurate as possible—I think he did a pretty okay job. Not only is the outside of the ship beautiful, he’s rebuilt some of the interior sets like the kitchen. But it gets better. Inara’s shuttle detaches. The wings actually swing and move. The cargo bay and drive both light up and there are custom minifigs of the crew that are absolutely adorable.
