JetBlue is already one of the comfortable and passenger friendly US airlines, and they’re about to up the ante with in-air broadband Wi-Fi.
JetBlue has announced it will be bringing high speed wireless Internet connectivity to its fleet starting in late 2012. The broadband connection will be made possible by the ViaSat-1 high capacity data satellite. JetBlue says its service will be exponentially faster than competing in-flight Wi-Fi services, most of which connect to the Internet via slower ground-based antenna networks.
