Japanese company is now selling personal mechs for just $1.4 million
If you’ve been wondering when you might be able to get your hands on your very own personal mech of the future, that day is now. Granted, each one of these beasts cost $1.4 million, but you didn’t think having your own mech would be cheap, did you? Please, Top Gear… get one of these.
Mobile suit obsessives around the world can thank artist Kogoro Kurata and robotics expert Wataru Yoshizaki for the robot frame, which has space to house a pilot inside. The mech’s touchscreen UI even includes a Kinect-based movement interface and the shudder-inducing “smile-activated” twin BB gatling guns.
