First look at Lady Gaga and Alexa Vega in Machete Kills
Robert Rodriguez has already begun shooting on ‘Machete Kills’, the sequel to Machete. Much like the first film, Machete Kills is cast with a mix of Rodriguez regulars and a few names that seem out of place. I was surprised to learn that Lady Gaga will be in the new Machete, and if you last saw Alexa Vega in Spy Kids… she’s all grown up now.
Lady Gaga will be playing a character called La Chameleón, and Rodriguez tweeted his excitement and surprise with working with Ms. Gaga:
I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills, she kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!
Alexa Vega was already a known member of the cast, but it’s been a while since she made her debut in Robert Rodriguez’s ‘Spy Kids’, and she’s now all grown up. The above photo was posted by Vega on Instagram, where she’s in costume as her Machete Kills character named “Killjoy”
