Happy 25th birthday to the animated gif
Twenty-five years ago today, the GIF (Graphic Interchange Format) was born. It was developed by Steve Wilhite of Compuserve. It immediately led to the production of animated GIFs, and without animated GIFs, there might not be an IHC as you know it.
