Serious question: If you suddenly received $5000, what would be the fastest, best and most effective way to turn it into an ongoing source of generating cash? — asked by Anonymous

Get in your time machine, go back to say 1930, deposit it in a savings account in a bank you know will still be around in 2012, return to the present and profit. Repeat as necessary.
