New DC fighting game on the way called ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’
Fans of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and DC Universe Online can look forward to a new DC Heroes fighting game coming in 2013. Details are sparse as yet, but it’s something to look forward to.
DC’s heroes are returning to the fighting game realm, this time in their own title: Injustice: Gods Among Us, from NetherRealm Studios.
NetherRealm is headed by Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon, who previously worked on 2008’s Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. Like that game, the story for Injustice: Gods Among Us is by comic book writers Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, currently co-writers of DC’s All-Star Western.
