I was wondering if anyone knew anything about taste buds. Is it possible for some people to be able to taste more than others? Like is the reason my bf can eat almost anything and I just can't even taste certain things mean that my sense of taste is more sensitive? I know that I can taste even the most minute amount of spicy while my bf will just think there is no spice whatsoever. Is he lying to me or am I just super sensitive? -Uniqueishard

Yeah, people do have different sensitivities to different tastes, but there’s also what you’re used to or what you grew up eating. A person born in the US and a person born in China may have the same receptors but will taste things differently based on what they’re used to eating.
