A slew of new features are about to hit Starcraft II

“On or about” the time the next SC2 expansion, “Heart of the Swarm” hits, there are also going to be a number of much-requested new features to Starcraft II, including being able to resume multiplayer matches if you’re disconnected and clans.

-Multiplayer resume from replay
-Global Play
-Multilanguage support
-Clan/group system
-Unranked matchmaking
-Multiplayer replay viewing

That first feature is designed to help players who might, oh I don’t know, get disconnected from a match during a major tournament? If it works as intended, it’ll be a great feature that will definitely make those rare circumstances a bit more tolerable. Personally, I’m really looking forward to an unranked matchmaking system, since as soon as ranking points are involved I get terrified and never want to even try. I just want to jump in and play without any real consequence.
