Audi’s electric R8 can make any engine sound you want, even a spaceship

Electric cars are good for the environment, but they leave something to be desired if you love the beautiful sound of a gas-guzzling engine. Audi’s R8 electric car uses an advanced fake engine noise technology thingy to make your Audi sound like an Audi, a muscle car or even a spaceship.

Okay, that’s cool technology and all, but one day I’ll still miss the genuine sound of a loud, nasty internal combustion engine, knowing that the noise coming from under the hood was made on a computer and not through finely tuned old fashioned mechanics.
