Are Disney and Marvel finally ready to do an animated Marvel feature film?

There’s no shortage of DC and Marvel animated movies and short films, but they’ve all been direct to video. With Disney having owned Marvel for a few years now, there’s always been speculation about whether Disney might ever do a big budget animated Marvel feature. And now, it looks like it could be very possible.
In Marvel’s future movie lineup, there’s an unnamed secret project in late 2013 that will be directed by Don Hall, who directed Disney’s recent Winnie the Pooh movie. And yet it’s a Marvel movie.
“That project, once announced will generate a lot of buzz in certain geek communities, as it’s going to surprise a lot of people for what it is and what it’s not. But it’s in the very early embryonic stage and it depends on how well the project is received upon the presentation that is being prepared for John [Lasster] and Ed [Catmull].
The projects competing for 2014/2015 are the uber-secret film from Don Hall, which will be a marvelously unexpected project if it ever gets the green light, and Nathan Greno and Byron Howard’s films which are deep in development.”
Which Marvel franchise would you like to see as a Disney and/or Pixar animated film? Iron Man? Spider-Man? Dazzler?
