Is this what humans will look like 50 million years from now?
In 1982, speculative zoologist (hey I want that job, that sounds cool) did a series of illustrations for Omni Magazine about what he thought humans and other contemporary creatures might look like if we were all still around 50 million years from now.
Dixon’s vision of a hyper-evolved human was a psychic, teleporting brain-puppet (“he’ll employ his expanded mental powers, “willing” nourishment up from the lake or teleporting himself down for a meal on the shore.”) Dixon also discusses genetically altered human organs that wander around nomadically and affix themselves to passing animals.
