Actor Leslie Nielsen dies at the age of 84
Well shitfuckhell… word out on the wire is that legendary actor Leslie Nielsen died this evening at the age of 84. What’s there to say? He went from being a serious actor in his early life to a brilliant comedic actor later in life, he had 50 years worth of movies and television under his belt and in the 80s . He was absolutely unique and absolutely irreplaceable.
From the variety shows of the 1950s, to Forbidden Planet, Playhouse 90, Rawhide, The Untouchables, Route 66, Gunsmoke, The Man from UNCLE and dozens of other movies and TV shows in the 1960s and 70s to the movies that he became immortalized for of the late 70s and 1980s— Airplane! and the Naked Gun movies, Leslie Nielsen was a man that will not be missed any day soon.
