Cleaning turns into an all out broom brawl at the Church of the Nativity in Israel
Every year, clergy get together at the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Israel to do a thorough and ritualistic cleansing of what most consider to be the birthplace of Jesus. With so many people, cleaning duties are carefully delegated to avoid toes being stepped on.
But this year, toes were stepped on, as members of Greek Orthodox and Armenian Orthodox churches crossed boundaries and the cleaning fest turned into a broom brawl. What would Jesus do? He would have jumped right in there with a rusty bike chain and broken some limbs.
