I Heart Chaos — I’ve got a munch of video tapes that I’ve managed to get converted. I am looking for a free video editor that is easy to use. All i need is something that can select a segment of video delete it and then save what’s left. I’ve been using the cut edit on tmpgEnc but it’s having problems. Any suggestions I really don’t need anything fancy or if it is something that comes with a tutorial.

As far as Windows, I don’t know. I use iMovie for stuff like that, but you don’t want my dirty Mac advice.
