Saturn’s bizarre hexagonal storms re-created in a laboratory

One of the more interesting features that have recently been discovered on Saturn are the nearly perfectly hexagonal gigantic storms at its poles. Since the time of Newton, people have known that such patterns can happen in a swirling bucket of water, but scientists wanted to re-create the phenomenon in conditions similar to those on Saturn.
