The bad news is that Jessica Alba’s semi-nude scene in Machete was computer generated

If you saw Machete, you should remember a very titillating scene in which Jessica Alba is buck-ass naked in the shower, obscuring the important bits with her arm and her leg. As it turns out, that nudity was completely computer generated.

The above image shows the before and after— it turns out she was wearing white undergarments that were then digitally removed, which must have been a pretty fun task for a lucky artist.

Fake nudity isn’t anything new— TV and movies for years and years have been using various flesh-colored skimpy clothing, stickers and prosthetics, but something about CG nudity seems odd. And what happened to the gratuitous boob shots from movies from the 80s? BRING THAT SHIT BACK GOD DAMMIT.
