Barack Obama to appear on a future episode of Mythbusters

Barack Obama today announced that he will be appearing on a future episode of Mythbusters in a walk-on role to issue a challenge to the Mythbusters team. The myth in question will challenge the ancient story that Greek scientist Archimedes set fire to an invading Roman fleet using sunlight reflected by mirrors. Wait, didn’t they do that one already? Whatever, he’s the president.

It’s awesome that he’s going to be on Mythbusters, and if I were president, that would be right near the top of my agenda. Hell, I might even have that as part of my campaign platform. It’s a little disappointing that he won’t be hanging out with the Mythbusters behind a plexiglas shield blowing up water coolers, but just appearing on the show is pretty fucking cool.
