Karate Kid rehearsal tapes from 1983 make for a bizarre alternate universe Karate Kid
In 1983, during the filming of the original Karate Kid, director John Avildsen had the actors film their own scene rehearsals with cheap cameras for them to watch later. So many years later, the tapes have hit the web and create a bizarre alternate universe cheap high school film class sort of version of The Karate Kid.
