Valve’s DotA 2 beta leaks, spilling video snippets all over the internet
Valve’s DotA 2 is currently in a very closed beta, but you know how those things go— eventually, someone spills something onto the internet, and in this case, it was a crapload of game files containing audio, character models, icons and a mention of a free-to-play mode, similar to Team Fortress 2.
None of this has been 100% confirmed as being from the game, and a lot of it seems to span the entire production process, from conceptual to beta, so this isn’t indicative of the final outcome.
