An interview with Terry Gilliam from 1970 on his stop motion animation
One of the things that made Monty Python recognizably Monty Python other than the actors themselves were the stop motion animation sequences that ran in between skits on Monty Python’s Flying Circus and in various places in the Monty Python movies. Here, Terry Gilliam talks about those some of his animations for the show and how they were conceived.

If you’ve ever wanted a pretty good list of tons of video game secrets and easter eggs, DYKG is for you. The design is a little hard on the eyes, but one could spend hours reading through the tips, tricks and hidden features in games across the spectrum.

‘Hook’s’ Rufio is getting his own movie, finally
One of the most endearing characters from the 1991 movie Hook was the punk kid Rufio, the leader of the Lost Boys and skateboarder extraordinaire. It would have been nice to have had a Rufio movie say in 1993, but I guess I’ll take one now, even if Dante Basco is too old for the role.

Yahoo does something cool and unexpected, releases a Yahoo browser for desktop and web
The past few years, I’ve just gotten used to watching Yahoo’s slow death— watching as they acquire companies in a desperate bid to try and stay relevant, only to fuck everything up. The last thing I expected at this point was for Yahoo to release a browser. Even more unexpected is that it would actually be pretty decent.

Some in DC are pissed off that Kathryn Bigelow got high level access for her Osama bin Laden film
Academy award winning director Kathryn Bigelow is currently shooting her new movie, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ about the hunt for and eventual killing of Osama bin Laden. But some in Washington are a bit alarmed that the Pentagon, White House and CIA opened up so much information to her and her screenwriters, much of which has not been made available to the public or to lawmakers.

DC is bringing out an all-ten-volumes-in-one-slipcase edition of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. Gaiman writes, “I’m thrilled. You have no idea how long I’ve been asking DC to do one of these. (Er, about 16 years.)”
