Temple of the Dog gets back together for one brief fleeting, awesome moment [I Heart Music]
You won't hear much Pearl Jam news on this site-- I stopped being interested in Pearl Jam after Vs came out and I felt it was a slimy piece of shit. But over the weekend, at a show in Los Angeles, Chris Cornell, formerly of Soundgarden and Audioslave, joined Eddie Vedder on stage to do "Hunger Strike", a song the two of them did as part of the brief grunge supergroup Temple of the Dog.
Were that not reunion enough, Cornell and Cameron’s fellow Soundgarden bandmates, guitarist Kim Thayil and bassist Ben Shepherd, showed up to watch, making this the first time in 13 years that all four members have appeared together publically. On top of that, former Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell even showed up at one point in the show. It was like 1994 all over again. Via: Afrojacks

Man. That really takes you
Man. That really takes you back 15 years in a hurry.
Hoping for a Soundgarden reunion
I grew up listening and playing grunge music, most especially Soundgarden. Even if the tuning is pretty weird i tried playing their songs. One of the things I love about that era is that Pop is not that big compared today.
Hoping for a reunion but dont call it grunge. No branding needed. Just play music for the love of it.

nothing like an album that is made just for the sake of making music.
dusting off the old Mother Love Bone albums.
