Nyotaimori (女体盛り, "female body presentation"), also known as "body sushi" is the practice of serving sushi or sashimi on the naked body of a female model. The practice originated in Japan, and though it's outlawed in some places (China booo!), it's risen in popularity outside of Japan, mainly in Europe and in several major cities in the US such as New York, LA and Miami.

The model, whether male of female (if it's a male model, it's referred to as "nantaimori"), has to be completely shaved and trained to lay still for hours while withstanding a slight amount of cold, though the body temperature raises the temperature of the sushi or sashimi to room temperature. Though strictly nyotaimori refers to only sushi or sashimi, it is sometimes done with hors d'oeuvres and desserts. If we can get any volunteers, I'm all about organizing an IHC nyotaimori party. I love sushi, but I imagine that I would love it so much more off the body of a hot chick. Read more at Wikipedia.
