Second Skin: A look into the lives of hardcore MMO players [I Heart Video Games]
For a limited time, Second Skin, a documentary about the lives of hardcore MMO players is free on Hulu. Yes, Hulu for all you non-Americans. Sorry. It's an interesting look at the brave men and women (yes women) who dedicate much of their lives to living in a virtual fantasy or sci-fi world. And OMG there's still people that play Everquest 2?
Watching this documentary makes me realize why I just had to quit World of Warcraft cold turkey. The shit is crack. But god, I feel so much better after not playing for about 8 months now. But on the other hand, I Heart Chaos exists because it started as a WoW guild, so there's that.

Very Interesting
I got to admit, I was very curious about watching this and casted some different views. Like most, I had to give up WoW, I mean you just get to a point where you just don't want to anymore.
....overall, the movie was really good, because it showed the hi's and low's, so good up in IHC!

Thanks for posting this. I'm only 30 minutes into it, but it really good so far. I've never played an online game like WoW or Everquest myself, so I'm finding it very interesting.
If you have Netflix check out a movie called DARKON. It's about people who dress up in medieval clothing and beat the crap out of each other with Nerf swords. It's kinda like Medieval Fight Club for Pussies.

Their lifestyle really isn't much different than your other crazy fanatics who're obsessed over something. Whether it's sports, drinking, or anything else you can build a lifestyle around.
But that guy who stopped playing has it right... Who fucking cares overall? It's still just a fucking game.
