We tend to cover a lot of robots on this site-- maybe too many robots some might say-- but robots are awesome, and since one day it's only inevitable that they'll enslave us, it's important to get to know them to understand their weaknesses. Of all these robot videos, it seems that while perhaps US robotics seem to have a slight technological advantage, Japan definitely has the design advantage. While American robots are often shown with their guts proudly hanging out, nary a Japanese robot enters the public eye without a face on it.

And so here we have ROPID. He dances, he jumps, but most of all, this is exactly how I want my future personal robo-servant to look. I'll say things like "Robot, make me a Long Island iced tea" and he'll look up at me and say "Yes, master" and come back with the perfect LIT. Ah, the future.
