With Tony Hawk Ride hitting the streets November 17th, there's suddenly been a flood of images and videos for the upcoming game. The best part is that it looks like that with THR, the series is going back in time and pulling some of the best levels from previous Tony Hawk games and retooling them. Yes, that looks like the airport form Tony Hawk 2. Good god.

I'm a huge fan of the Tony Hawk games. Some people liked Skate more for its realism, but fuck realism. I want to grind down 200 feet of pipe, fly through an exploding building and land on the roof of a moving car.

And... THR will be packaged with a new skateboard peripheral that I'm somewhat less enthusiastic about. I don't want to actually skate... I just want to pretend like I'm skating until my thumbs lock up. For $120 with the peripheral, I hope there's a standalone game without it.
