Between everything else Kevin Smith is doing, he's currently in the middle of a 12 part Batman miniseries for DC Comics called "The Widening Gyre", in which he explores the shit Bruce Wayne is going through as a guy getting older and realizing that he can do more things than just be Batman. And in this series, he's introducing a new character to the Batman universe named Baphomet, who's another good-guy vigilante like Batman.

"Gyre" follows up another successful Batman series that Smith wrote called "Cacophany". Once this 12 part Batman series ends, he'll be tackling another 12 part arc featuring Baphomet as the main character. Read more at MTV.
