Gameplay footage from the canned Flash video game [I Heart Video Games]
Never really much of a fan of The Flash-- I mean it's hard to get excited about a guy that just runs really fast-- but this looks like it could have been fairly somewhat kinda decent. The gameplay footage is really rough... most of the cars and buildings and characters aren't rendered the way they look in the final game and the battle system would have probably undergone a good deal of work, but here you have it.
I think the one thing I don't really like about this, though, other than the fact that it's The Flash is the running animation. God that would get annoying quick. For one thing, he doesn't seem to be moving nearly fast enough. What is he doing? 60 mph? Oooh impressive. Usain Bolt is just a coule minor cyborg surgeries away from that. I do like the Danny Elfman score that they added in from the 1990 Flash TV show. Via: Joystiq

id play this just need some one to make it and you should lose stamina when at a certain speed and once it reached nil he would faint and you'd have to play some kinda mini game to regain consciousness something like that, and get rid of the GTA style is old and dc cant quite work it yet need to just do some kinda thing like get from point a to point b with out using all your stamina, using some kinda speed control so you can keep your stamina bar up but needing to go faster for like water for example and then would need some obstacles and what not and your speed should effect the environment blowing trees down and so on, SO with some effort could come back and might just make for a pretty sick game if they did it a bit darker than the superman game they made ( which sucked hardcore)

They would have put him in doing 60 miles per picosecond, but that would have been a bit hard for the eye to follow, don't you think?
The Flash just isn't really a character that translates well to videogames; either you nerf his abilities down to almost nothing, or the game becomes completely unplayable because you're moving around -- and fighting -- at speeds faster than the human eye can follow.
What d'you want to bet that that game would've had a hundred times more nauseating slow-fast footage than "300"?
