Batman's newest villain is absolutely deadly with a blow drier [I Heart Comics]
This is the cover to the upcoming Batman & Robin #6, in which the caped crusader and his pal get the holy crap beat out of them by THE FLAMINGO, a guy that looks like he's the DNA petri dish lovechild of Freddie Mercury and Prince. As a matter of fact, that motorcycle is pretty much identical to the one Prince is riding on the cover of Purple Rain.
The Flamingo? Really? Is Batman next going to fight bad guys like Sho Nuff, The Jewinator and Broken Sombrero? I mean, if you're going to have a gay villain, that's great, but does he have to be gaysploitation best gay friend sitcom gay? That's my beef with pretty much any gay character since... Will & Grace. That show was crap with just one "LOOK, I'M GAY" joke after another. Who gives a crap if someone's gay? Do they have to make all gays look like they're cookie-cutter versions of each other?
