With The Road coming out on November 25th, here's the latest trailer for the adaptation of the Cormac McCarthy novel. There's more bleakness, more Vito Morgensson (a great casting choice, btw) and some of Charlize Theron.

Up for a movie this weekend? Not anything absolutely huge opening this weekend, though there may be a couple worth watching. The big budget films opening this weekend are Amelia, the biopic of Amelia Earhart starring Hillary Swank as the famed aviator, Saw VI, which is another Saw movie, Astro Boy, which looks like it could be fun and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant, which has John C. Reilly as a vampire and Salma Hayek in a beard.

No, this Timur Bekmambetov produced Russian action film isn't about DC Comic's afro'd and butterfly collared superhero. Yeah, I was disappointed, too. But it does still look pretty awesome. This trailer is entirely in Russian, so if you don't speak Russian, basically, the movie is about a college student that comes across a flying black Volga that somehow turns him into the defender of Moscow. Put together Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger together in the same film and you would expect the most violent, testosterone-fueled Mad Mad Mad World ever. But instead, The Expendables looks like some 80s made for TV half-assed action flick. Maybe there's just too much talking in the trailer, not enough face-punching.

George Romero is not a man that you can accuse of going off on tangents. He knows what he likes, he knows what he's good at and he does a lot of it. For his next movie, due out in 2010, he's remaking his 1973 film The Crazies.

Last month, we showed you some stills of Human Centipede, the horror flick about a mad scientist who gets his jollies by kidnapping people and sewing them ass-to-mouth, but we finally have a clip of the film, courtesy of io9. It doesn't tell you any more about the story, but there's little else you need to know.

Throw a rock these days and you'll hit a porn company that's trying to make a little extra sauce by doing a porn parody of a loved older TV show. Seinfeld, The Cosby Show, even WKRP for fuck's sake. So it should come as no surprise that there's a porn parody of the X Files. I'm all for it, as long as there's some hot Kimblery Kane (who looks a whole lot like Gillian Anderson) girl-on-girl action. Via: Topless Robot

Before you start freaking out over the remake of Plan 9 From Outer Space (simply titled Plan 9) about what a travesty it is, watch the teaser trailer below. I think Topless Robot sums it up best by saying that while most remakes of cheesy 50s B movies are either way too silly or way too serious, Plan 9 seems to nail it right there in the sweet spot, by creating what looks the movie Ed Wood thought he was making in his own head.

Pervert! The Movie, which came out in 2005, is a Russ Myers-style gratuitously raunchy movie starring porn star Mary Carey. I've never seen the movie myself, but with this trailer sent in by Odd, I certainly am intrigued.
