A couple days ago, the Pirate Bay announced that it was permanently shutting down the Pirate Bay Tracker, which was the world's largest torrent tracker. Although the site will remain operational for now, millions of BitTorrent users will lose the use of its tracker and will instead have to rely on DHT and alternative trackers to continue downloading. And on top of it, Demonoid is STILL offline with no explanation. My guess is that they're trying to lay low for now.

Howdy gang. It's time for another installment in IHC's newest series called Odd's Oddities. Today I have a flash game called Alice is Dead. It's one of those "point and click to get out of the room" type games. So far there is only one chapter to this game, but I am interested to see what comes next.

You know those fucking people on the internets... somebody starts doing something and then a zillion other people do it too and before you know it you've got shit like this... a rash of people posting videos to YouTube where they try to laugh without smiling. The video below is pretty disturbing and there's plenty more annoyance at Buzzfeed if you can take it without punching out a coworker.

More and more people are using home theater PCs to stream media straight to their television and a number of companies are responding. Hulu's been talking about larger and better quality downloads and a monthly fee, Apple's talking about a monthly iTunes TV subscription and now YouTube has introduced YouTube XL, especially made for bigger screens for people using their TVs to watch internet video.

Looks like some web monkey (who's probably going to get his or her ass chewed out) thought they might make a pitch for Windows 7... on Apple.com. Sadly, it wasn't up for long. Nice try, mysterious web person at Apple.
