Once again, the Philippines prove that they're seriously gunning for Japan's honor of the #1 producer of weird fucking superhero shit in the world with this clip from some Wonder Woman ripoff. AND WAY TOO MANY BEES.

Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier go off on the shitiness that is Aquaman and then somebody animated the whole thing. Poor Aquaman... he's just the surf cop of the Justice League and he won't even get high with you.

This is the cover to the upcoming Batman & Robin #6, in which the caped crusader and his pal get the holy crap beat out of them by THE FLAMINGO, a guy that looks like he's the DNA petri dish lovechild of Freddie Mercury and Prince. As a matter of fact, that motorcycle is pretty much identical to the one Prince is riding on the cover of Purple Rain. 

So I was surfing around the interwebz when I came across these little gems. I dig Mr. Incredible as Captain America. With Diseny's aquisition of Marvel properties, I am hoping we don't ever actually see anything like this. I mean it's good for a laugh, but I am also weeping a little on the inside

There really is a Spiderman that lives in New York City-- and he pulls a rickshaw for a living, doing tricks for his rickshaw passengers when he should probably be getting them to their destination. Oh, okay, it's all in good fun.... at least it is til someone throws up from the experience.

Never really much of a fan of The Flash-- I mean it's hard to get excited about a guy that just runs really fast-- but this looks like it could have been fairly somewhat kinda decent. The gameplay footage is really rough... most of the cars and buildings and characters aren't rendered the way they look in the final game and the battle system would have probably undergone a good deal of work, but here you have it.

Between everything else Kevin Smith is doing, he's currently in the middle of a 12 part Batman miniseries for DC Comics called "The Widening Gyre", in which he explores the shit Bruce Wayne is going through as a guy getting older and realizing that he can do more things than just be Batman. And in this series, he's introducing a new character to the Batman universe named Baphomet, who's another good-guy vigilante like Batman.

I recently discovered the works of artist Kristian Hammer on FFFound and now I want prints of her stuff all over my apartment. She's an artist and illustrator that has a great golden age of comics sort of retro style, creating a cool as hell world full of zombie pinups, hipster wolfmen and sock-hopping monsters. Finally, something that will give you more dark nightmares than Cthulhu... Ron Howard has announced that his next project will be a big screen adaptation of the graphic novel "The Adventures of HP Lovecraft". Yes, Ron Howard.
