This is a cool 19 minute video about the largest black hole ever detected in the universe-- OJ-287. The narrator sounds a little like he's channeling William Shatner, but it's still definitely a nice way to spend a short part of your Sunday.

Of course, we've never actually witnessed stars and planets being eaten alive in real time by a black hole, but these are some great computer simulations of what it would look like. These massive voids of gravity have the power to disassemble and reduce practically anything in the universe to the tiniest of particles. Another awesome vid after the jump.
