Urbanfort needs game testers! Please help out if you can.
Hey gang! Wow! 40 responses for testing assistance and the requests are still coming in as I’m writing this update. The guy that is in charge of running the testing team is telling me that he has reached his limit on what he can potentially manage so at this time we’re not adding any more testers. If you didn’t make it in this batch, I’ll be sure to keep your name on file so we can get back in touch later.
Thanks IHC Community for making this an awesome experience. You guys rock!
Myself and three other developers are working on an indie game project slated for release in the next month or so. We’ve been busting ass making content and coding for the last 6 months in our after-hours and we’re finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
Tomorrow (1/31) is my first birthday away from home. I'm from Chile and now I'm living in Albuquerque, NM. So could you have this photo of my awesome dog somewhere on the site?
I was gonna ask for a FOTD but I think this is better. Although amateurs would be nice.
According to Billy West, Kurt Cobain once wrote a song for the Ren and Stimpy show, but it got rejected
According to voice actor Billy West, who did the voice of Stimpy on Ren and Stimpy and currently does several voices on Futurama, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain once showed up at the LA offices of Spumco with a song he had written for the Ren and Stimpy show. Sadly, the song got rejected and there’s no record of it and there’s no record of Kurt’s visit to the studio other than Billy West’s story.
Not surprisingly, the Chinese government is censoring news about the turmoil in Egypt
In the West, we’re trying to soak up news from Egypt as fast as it’s coming in, in the hopes that the Egyptian people might finally get a true democratic government. In China however, the government isn’t nearly as keen on covering the massive street protests, for obvious reasons.

Ever since Venom was debuted in the late 80s, he’s been a big hit with fans. And in that period of time, the Venom symbiote has had a number of hosts, allowing for a wide variety of storylines and villains. It’s been bonded with Peter Parker and Eddie Brock and Mac Gargan (Scorpion). But its latest host is Flash Thompson, former best buddy of Peter Parker and military black ops bad ass.
Gene Roddenberry's original 1964 pitch for Star Trek is discovered
Before a TV show can get funding or actors or a set or a pilot, it needs to be pitched to a studio. And so in 1964, Gene Roddenberry pitched Star Trek to Paramount, but in the pitch, the ideas weren’t fully formed and much of the show was pretty different even from the 1966 pilot.
Texas is facing a stripper shortage leading up to Super Bowl XLV
With Super Bowl XLV rolling into Dallas next weekend, strip clubs in the Dallas area and around Texas are facing a shortage of strippers for the huge influx of tourists that will be in town. I know some of you have some hot asses that could make a little bit of extra dough if you want to get all sexy with some fat, sweaty Packers fan.
Zack Snyder finds his new Superman in actor Henry Cavill
After months of guessing games, Zack Snyder finally cast someone for his upcoming Superman reboot— British actor Henry Cavill. Of course it’s a British guy, because British actors are taking all the good roles lately. Cavill was almost cast as Superman before, but Brian Singer decided to go with Brandon Routh instead.
Daily Discussion: Do you believe that intelligent extraterrestrial life is out there?
If science fiction is to be believed, we’re just one discovery away or just a generation or two away from that historic first contact, where we finally encounter an intelligent alien race somewhere out there in space that we can hang out with, drink with and share the secrets of the universe with. But do you believe it will happen? Do you believe that we’re on the horizon of joining the intergalactic brotherhood of sorts or are we destined to be alone on this little rock at the edge of the Milky Way?
KTLA in Los Angeles, California, had an interesting guest on its morning newscast recently— a 6’9” female wrestler named Isis. First Isis helped out with the weather and then she laid the smack down on the news staff.
Though many things can be phallic, and at times some of us are more prone to see cock in things that don’t necessarily look like wang, these below images leave little doubt of what they resemble. Short, long, wide, skinny, shriveled…these members here can be appreciated by all.
100,000 year old human settlement in United Arab Emirates overturns what we thought we knew about human evolution
A month ago, paleontologists announced the finding of human teeth in a cave in Israel that were twice as old as any hominid remains found in Africa and that was a big fucking deal. Now it looks like we’ve discovered the remains of a human settlement in the United Arab Emirates that’s just as old— 100,000 years, which further questions the previously established age of Homo sapiens and when exactly we left Africa.
Ayn Rand took government assistance while decrying others who did the same
Author Ayn Rand, famously a believer in rugged individualism and personal responsibility, was a strong defender of self-interest. She was a staunch opponent of government programs from the New Deal and Social Security to the Great Society and Medicare… was apparently secretly taking Social Security and Medicare near the end of her life.
Is Amazon about to roll out a Netflix-style unlimited movie streaming plan?
According to Engadget, they’ve had several reports of people with Amazon Prime accounts encountering a screen similar to what you see above, only to later have it disappear. There have been rumors for a while that Amazon might either try to buy Netflix (I doubt Netflix would sell at this point) or that they might try to roll out their own unlimited streaming Netflix-style plan, which is what it appears they’re experimenting with.

Shit just getting crazier in Egypt, museums looted, buildings burning
Well good morning to you, too Egypt. Okay so quick rundown. Yesterday, president Hasni Mubarak pointlessly appointed a new VP and Prime Minister, sent his family out of the country to London. Peaceful protesting has turned into anarchy and looting and arson, the national museum was looted and a couple mummies were destroyed, but a human chain (above) has prevented further looting. The threat to the museum now are surrounding buildings that are on fire.
As a man, there are many ways to attack the task of “draining the lizard”. It may just be the single most rewarding thing about being a guy as opposed to a gal. Personally I try to mix it up each time I got. With this guide I’ve got 9 different ways I can rotate through.
