New teaser trailer for Terminator 4 [I Heart Movies]

With Terminator 3, it looked like the Terminator series was kaput. T3 wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t really going anywhere other than showcasing an old and out of shape Arnold and to introduce a female terminator robot. And when you start bringing back aging action stars and doing things like adding a female villain for no other reason than you haven’t had a female villain yet, your franchise is kaput.

But the Terminator series was never really about the Terminator, it’s been about John Connor. It’s a brilliant time travel story, but with T3, it started to lose focus but with T4, there’s no Arnold, no rehashed plot. It’s all about how John Connor, growing up knowing his own fate, deals with the apocalyptic war that will turn him into mankind’s greatest hero. And it looks balls out crazy.

This teaser by the way is showing before The Dark Knight, so if you go and see The Dark Knight, you can be way cool ahead of your friends.
